Guest Tips
We want to help you successfully stay with a local when you travel. Please follow these guidelines to ensure the best possible experience.
-
Use common sense.
- If a listing is missing data fields that are important to you (headshot, house images, or description) consider booking with other more complete listings, or message the host first to request they upload additional data.
-
Utilize onsite messaging.
- This feature allows you to contact the host before booking the room to ask questions, confirm availability, and educate yourself more about the listing.
-
Booked a room? Congrats!
- Email or message your host prior to arriving. Let them know your arrival time and the best means of contacting you.
- Print and pack your itinerary. You can find it saved in your dashboard when logged in to your AB&B account.
- Keep your host informed. Flight delayed? Stuck in traffic? Phone, text, or email them your status.
